Blogging

Until last week, I knew almost nothing about blogging.

I do subscribe to the blog of one of my former students.  His name is Jonathan Grubb, and I read his blog partly because he was one of the most interesting students I’ve ever taught, partly because he so clearly loved my class and asked the best questions, and partly because he’s a smart and funny writer.  He wrote about me in one of his posts, and I have it bookmarked and look at it from time to time.  (If you do decide to look, it’s in the comments, so keep scrolling down.)

When we were rolling out the Instructional Model last year, Andrew Wright suggested to me that I should start a blog as an avenue for communication about the model.  A year later, I am finally getting around to it.

Ian Jones, who is new this year in Technology, has written his own very helpful post regarding accessing blogs using RSS.  (There are, by the way, other exciting things going on in technology that I hope Ian will keep us apprised of.)

I still know almost nothing about blogging, but I’m learning fast.  Anyone got suggestions for great blogs we should check out?
